P!Òpera (Picnic+Òpera), the most outstanding novelty of the Poble Espanyol's summer programme, includes three shows based on a selection of the great classics of the lyric genre in a fresh and intimate format: under the stars, with a surprising setting, contemporary dance performances before the shows and the chance to dine picnic-style.

For the first time, the Poble del Poble marquee and picnic areas have been transformed into the Village, a large open-air area specially designed to make your experience at the Poble del Poble as pleasant and long-lasting as possible. From 10 April to 1 May 2022, the Homo Faber Event, an international exhibition promoting artisanal talent, takes place in Venice. This edition celebrates the "living treasures" of craftsmanship through 15 exceptional exhibitions that invite visitors to discover the connection between Europe and Japan.

Barcelona, December 2021 - On 16 December, Barcelona City Council, Tourism Barcelona and the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce renewed our Barcelona Biosphere Tourism Sustainability certificate for the second consecutive year. The Commitment bases its methodology on the work around the 17 sustainable development goals of the United Nations 2030 Agenda and, in recent months, as a result of the pandemic, has incorporated new measures that refer to health safety, establishing protocols recognised by the Safe Travels seal of the World Travel & Tourism Council.

Barcelona, October 2021 - On the 29th of October, the courses will begin at Poble Espanyol. Every Friday and two Saturdays a month, the Poble Espanyol's artisans will offer new specialised workshops where participants will learn to apply various craft techniques from professionals.
